The Kern High School District will discontinue its Wi-Fi bus routes effective Monday, April 27, 2020 due to extremely low usage by students. If you are one of the students that did use the Wi-Fi bus route, please contact us at Schoolclosure@kernhigh.org or call 661-827-3149. **Please note that Wi-Fi connectivity is still available from the parking lots of all KHSD school sites. Wi-Fi access is also available at most elementary, middle school, & junior high campuses to make access available in local neighborhoods. Because of the COVID-19 health crisis, Kern High School District school sites will be closed to students for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. Please note the following schools will provide "grab & go" meals. Meal Distribution Sites as of Tuesday, April 14, 2020, Monday-Thursday Arvin High School Bakersfield High School Frontier High School Golden Valley High School Independence High School Kern Valley High School Mira Monte High School North High School Nueva High School Shafter High School South High School Stockdale High School West High School Students need to be present to receive their meals. School site offices will also be closed through the remainder of the school year & will be very minimally staffed.
